Color Your Mood

Some people fail to understand how much of an impact color can have on our lives. Multiple studies show that different colors affect you mentally and physically. For instance black gives a sense of power, sexuality, and elegance. Blue has been said to slow a pulse rate, reduce appetite, and lower body temperature. Green signifies nature, health, and has been believed to hold healing powers. Orange represents balance and warmth while purple can reflect luxury and royalty.

The list can go on and I’m sure we all have felt at one time or another, a colorful room having an affect on our mood. This allows us to control our household and our surroundings to help ourselves grow as people. Imagine being able to control your mood by walking into different rooms in your house; who needs a shrink anymore? If you’re thinking that you despise painting, rest assured you can achieve the same affect with great pieces of furniture.

You may now wonder where you can find great furniture in such an array of colors. Just think of a design capital, for instance a furniture store in NYC. There will most likely be an endless selection of color schemes. Furniture in New York tends to be loud and strong enough in design that it can speak for a whole room in itself. Of course they have more subdued hues such as white, beige and browns, but what’s the risk in that? Challenge yourself and your environment and think outside of the box for once.

Make a bold statement that can enhance the mood of you, your family and your guests. People will leave your home talking about how elegant, calm, warm, etc…it made them feel. Put yourself in control of your life and mood by enhancing your rooms with color. Whether it is paint, furniture, accessories, or wall art, make an impact with your next home development project with the color of your choice.

Affordable T5 Bulbs

As a homeowner, you have a number of important decisions to make regarding how you maintain your home. Every decision that you make will not only impact your home, but it will also have an impact on the environment. When it comes to making home improvements around my house, I like to do everything I can to help out the environment. From recycling to collecting rain water in barrels, I try to do what I can to help out. I have slowly been making some other changes around the house as well.

I decided that I would like to make some lighting changes in order to reduce my energy consumption. I switched all of my bulbs over to LED. But even though it was easy to find most of the bulbs I needed, I had a difficult time finding LED Holiday Lights that were affordable. After some searching, I was able to find a few places that had a wide variety of LED Holiday Lights for prices that I could afford. Within a few short years I was able to change over all of my lights to the bolder and brighter LED Holiday Lights. Not only were they dazzling and bright, but the significantly cut down on my electric bill around the holidays.

I also decided to start my own vegetable garden and to sow my seeds indoors. I wanted to start a lot of seedlings and hand them out to family and friends so I set up a rather large indoor nursery complete with t5 bulbs for my fluorescent grow lights. I choose the t5 bulbs because they lasted longer than some of the other options available and they produced very little heat which meant that I could have them placed very close to the plants without drying them out. My local nursery recommended the t5 bulbs and grow lights that I purchased. I believe that if everyone makes a few simple changes that we can protect our environment and promote healthy and well-balanced living. Growing our own plants and vegetables ensures that we are consuming products that haven’t been laden with pesticides and other harmful chemicals.

Flashy Bowling Balls

What cheaper sport exists than bowling? It’s a great way to get out with your friends without blowing your whole paycheck. For a few dollars, bowling delivers some friendly competition, a few laughs, and a good time out in a crowd. It’s the perfect way to kick off recession blues and get back to the good times of living.

In times of recession, everybody has to watch their wallet, but that doesn’t mean staying shut up at home and never saying hi to the world. Instead, choose forms of recreation that are more affordable. Bowling is one of the cheapest hobbies and sports that exist. Once you own the basic equipment, you can have a good time with friends and family for just a few dollars. That’s great activity at a great price. Who could say no to that?

Even if you don’t yet own your ball, there are plenty of affordable options on the Internet. Ever since Bowlersparadise exploded on the Internet over the last decade, a market has grown for online bowling shops. In fact, there are so many online discount shops that offer cheap bowling balls they compete against each other to bring you the latest deal. You get a wider assortment but a better deal than you’d ever pay in a store.

It makes sense. Bowlersparadise began as a retail bowling shop in California in 1990, helping the needs of local bowlers. When they moved online in 1999, the shop found it could serve the needs of bowlers globally without having to pay for store rental and other fixed costs. Those savings could then be passed on to the consumer, enabling them to sell cheap bowling balls for a part of what the retail stores cost.

Since then, bowling sites have taken over the Internet, creating a buyers market where the reductions roll down the lane. Shop and compare. You’ll find a better deal online every time.

Visit sporting goods stores only to handle the merchandise in person. Then go home and find it online. You’ll pay half as much, but get the same quality and a better selection. When you own your own equipment, bowling is most affordable sport there is. When you buy that equipment online, you get the same quality for an even bigger savings.
